✨ Site Updates
👯 Paired Media + Text
When you send a text message with a piece of media, these are now paired together to make it clearer that the text belongs with the media.
🔒👀 Visible Teasers
When you include a teaser for a locked pic or vid, users see the teaser pic or the first frame of a teaser vid with a small lock icon in the corner. In the past, there was simply a blur with a large lock icon in the center of the image.
This is even more reason to add a teaser to your locked pics and vids, since users now get an immediate visual cue to check out the post. Note that when viewing the post as a logged-in model, you will still see the old view of a blurred image and centered lock icon.
💨 Quick Post
Tapping on each post element—media, caption, visibility settings—will open a drop down. This means that you won’t have to tap in and tap back out of each element to edit it. You can simply open each as you need it, saving a few more taps.
👂Tell Us: Emoji Reactions
In January, the site added the ability for users and models to react to messages with emojis. Since then, models have shared feedback on their experience with the feature, and we want to know…

📨 Sending Intro Messages
After about seven months of the automated intro messages feature, here are a few things we’ve observed:
👀 Of all intro messages sent sitewide, we saw a 78% read rate and a 19.7% response rate.
💬 47 of the 50 intro messages that had the highest response rates (40% or over) included a question or prompt.
🤪 31 of the 50 messages with the highest response rates included an emoji or emoticon.
While no one single factor guarantees a reply, here are a few things you can do:
💌 Greet new contact adds ASAP, whether you do it manually or automate it. If you know you’re likely to miss them, then set up automated intro messages.
❓Ask a question or lead them with a prompt. While some users may respond to a simple “hey,” giving them a reason to respond leaves less to chance.
🐝 Be yourself. Abbreviate words when u txt? Follow the same style in your intro. Are you funny? Sensual? Dommy? Show it. But if you’re normally long-winded…
💋KISS: Keep it simple, sweetheart. You only have 100 characters for these intros anyway.
🔜 Follow up. If they don’t respond to your intro but you see them online later, poke them with another message.
Above all, greet them somehow and fast. Remember, users pay to send you a message. If you message first, they’ll know you’re online and ready to engage and thus feel much more confident spending even a little bit of money to message you.
