Feed Post Features—Explained

There’s a new look and feel to how you post to your Feed!

You now have more control over who can see each post and what they can see as a teaser of a locked post. The goal here is to encourage users to unlock more content, more frequently from your Feed.

Details

  • From your Model Dashboard on your browser, you’ll see an additional button in the left navigation bar under your availability status that reads + Create New. Tap this to create a new post or a new mass message.

    • NOTE You can still create a Feed post from the Home and Feed pages of your Model Dashboard.

  • As before, you can add media from your device or your Media Vault, and you can lock the media for a price or leave it free.

    • If you lock your media for a price, you’ll be given the option to Add a Teaser or adjust the Image Blur.

      • You can add a free teaser that’s an image or a clip between 5 and 30 seconds long.

      • Users can view this free teaser twice. After that, they only have the option to unlock the media.

      • If you do not add a teaser for a clip, you can still adjust the blur of the displayed thumbnail.

      • Once you add a teaser or adjust the blur, you can preview your post so that you can see it how users will see it.

  • If your media uploaded upside down or flipped on its side, you can now rotate the image to the correct view.

  • As before, you can add a caption to any post. Include hashtags!

  • You can now determine who can view your post.

    • The default selection is Registered Users, which means that anyone with a SextPanther account can view your post. Selecting this option also allows you to post to Explore for maximum visibility to users who haven’t added you as a contact yet.

    • The second option is Contacts Only, which is exactly what it sounds like. This post will not be pushed to the Explore page, but users in your contact list will be able to view it in your Feed and in their User Dashboard Home page Feed.

    • The third option is Paid Users Only, which means that users need to have purchased credits at some point to be able to view your post.

Recommendations

  • If you’re posting a clip, add a teaser! If users have a better understanding of what the post contains, they’re far more likely to unlock it.

  • If you’re posting a nude, consider using the teaser feature to show a censored version of the image.

  • If you’re posting an image, test the blur with the Preview Post option.

  • Even with teasers and blurs, you should still add a caption to describe and persuade. Use trigger words appropriate for the kinks and fetishes evident in the locked media.

  • Remember to use hashtags in the caption to increase your post’s discoverability and reach the audience you want.

  • Choose your post visibility wisely.

    • Choose Registered Users and post to Explore to maximize your visibility and discoverability especially to users who haven’t added you to their contact list yet.

    • Choose Contacts Only if you want to share exclusive content with your current and future contacts. Posting this way—rather than sending a Mass Message—allows users new to you to still see older posts that are visible to contacts only. Users new to you cannot see previously sent Mass Messages.

    • Choose Paid Users Only if you want to prevent registered site users who haven’t yet added credits from seeing your Feed posts. Note that if you choose this option, you cannot post this content to Explore. It will post to your Profile only, which means that a registered user who has credits can visit your profile and see these posts.
